Well it didn't take the birds long to find the bird feeders that I put up last week. I think it is going to be an expensive winter!
In the garden this morning a Lesser Redpoll, Bullfinch, Coal Tit, Brambling and 2 fly over Fieldfares. What is notable is the number of Greenfinches around - guestimate of circa 20 at least around the feeders.
The Sparrowhawk has also found the feeders! Two attempted ambushes this morning and two failures.
Quite a lot of Starlings about but number wise only about 25% compared to last Sunday. No sign of the Rosy.
