Two Ringed Plovers were feeding along the
narrow strip of shore remaining on the rising tide. A Lesser Whitethroat was
singing from the depths of the gorse thicket on the opposite side of the road
from the hotel. Impressively it was audible above the almost constant passing traffic
noise.
