A walk out this morning down road to lighthouse then along coast to reed-bed at Pwll Arian and back.
Golden Plover seems to have moved on - no sign this morning. My first singing Blackcap in Richard's Valley. Lots and lots of Meadow Pipits moving and a notable movement overhead of Goldfinches!
A Swallow East along cliffs just past lighthouse. A Willow Warbler and Lesser Redpoll feeding on the ground together at one of the small streams along the coast was a strange combination. A couple of Mistle Thrushes seen. A pair of Choughs were aggressively mocking something at the bottom of a gully but I could not get to see what it was - a bird of prey maybe?
21 wagtails in the ploughed field just before the head turned out to be 20 Pied and 1 White.
