Sundays Birds

A trip to Ireland on the Stena Europe was a bit choppier than expected on our return today so I amused myself trying to get pic's of passing sea birds. I was hoping for a mid channel swallow to be honest but the manxies seemed to have arrived in numbers overnight as had the puffins. Both these were taken off Strumble around 12.00am.

Later on I went out on the breakwater and found a couple of Purple Sandpipers which have been noticable by their absence generally this winter. I loved the shag fishing close in with its spring plume even if the weather is not particularly spring like!
